CEO/PRODUCER/RAPPER PIMP WHITE

GETTING TO KNOW CEO/PRODUCER/RAPPER

PIMP WHITE

1.) Tell us a little about yourself and your company.

What it is world you already know it's ya-boy Pimp White, C.E.O/producer/rapper of the next best label to blow out the south Jump Outt Records. And basically we what No Limit was and Cash Money is; the voice of the streets.

2.) What excatly is the process behind music production and a typical day like for a music CEO in the studio?

Well with the way technology has advanced you can now a days simply power up what ever it is you produce beats with and make a hit off a simple mistake, so really learning the software you use and going for what you know is the new 2013 way to produce a beat lol. Real talk though you gotta have that ear, thats a producer terminology. That ear will guide you all the way through the whole beat making process by letting you know what instruments sound good with the other etc. And wearing multiple hats in the studio means I gotta dissect the overall recording in between and once its completed to make sure everything from the production to the vocals on point. So basically when im in the lab im just all ears.

3.) Do you feel like Hip Hop is dead? Why or Why Not?

Naw I believe its reinventing itself, you know just like a house needs renovation ? Everything in life including music does too.

4.) How is it being an indie record label verses a major? What are the pros and cons?

Being independent everything's 100 percent all you, from the mess up's to the accomplishments. So at the end of the day all profit is pocketed, but unless you already got that major label money on deck or a crazy internet buzz, you gone have to literally hit every state to let the world know you exist versus a major doing it all in one whop. And like I said if you dont got funds like that you gone end up in a world of trouble.

5.) Do you feel like your music from your artist and also you could stir up controversies?

Our music is based off life experiences from unfortunate situations that we made better, or still working on. So the only individuals that would feel that way is one that cant relate to coming up in the same circumstances we did, and for them we have those little parental advisory stickers on every album.

6.)How do you feel about the incident that happen with Rick Ross being shot at?

I cant speak on that cause you know even though thats my hometeam, I dont know fool personally ya-feel me. And I mean, a million and one things could of triggered that shooting. But, when its all said and done, the only people that should have opinions about that there are the peoples involved straight up. Everybody else shut up and stop assuming.

7.)I see that your from Miami one of the hottest places in the south. Tell us what it's like just being Florida born?

It's a blessing lol, the weather alone got everybody moving here so its a variety of everything from the women, clothes, food, etc. All in one spot ya-feel me.

8.) Who are some rappers that inspired you to fulfil your dreams and sign others and help them?

Master P, im still studying "P" till this day. After I saw what he did for his family, friends and loved ones. I was like this the nigga I need to learn from.

9.) Do you feel like with the way technology is, that the music industry is now a joke or would you suggest someone trying to get out there to just not look at it that way and focus on their growth?

You know its a job. And just like any job your hard work and dedication is whats gone separate the employees from the employers.

10.) How would you like people to perceive Jump Outt Records?

As the new era No Limit, Bad Boy, Death Row, without all the nonsense lol. With the best artists and production to form a movement that took over the streets in a while

11.) What are your goals for the future and a motto that you would like to share for readers who are trying to follow their dreams?

My goals for the future is to make sure what ever im involved in by any means is prosperous. Because when im winning my team is winning and our families are taken care of. And for everybody pursuing a dream remember this, Life Is What You Make It.
